The Union Choir began as a studio project between Jon Melvin and Grant Lagan in 2009. Following airplay from BBC Radio 6, the band developed into a line-up of 8 regular members and a host of supporting musicians. Two previous singles, Eleanor and the Your Melodica/Lavender double A-side, sold out on release. Following a hiatus, the band will be performing live to support the release of their debut album later in the year. The single is their first release since 2012, and is the first song to be released from the band’s forthcoming album, The Ghosts in the Room.
